Most speakers begin their speech with "Khutbatul Hajjah". its a sunnah. The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) used to start all of his khutbah with these sentences. We should learn the meanings of these.




إن الحمد لله نحمده ، و نستعينه ، و نستهديه و نستغفره ، ونسترشده ، و نعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا ، و سيئات أعمالنا ، من يهده الله فلا مضل له ، و من يضلل فلا هادي له ، و أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله ، وحده لا شريك له ، و أشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله .

قال تعالى : ( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ)
(آل عمران:102) .

و قال أيضاً : ( يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيراً وَنِسَاءً وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيباً)
(النساء:1) .

وقال جل جلاله :( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلاً سَدِيداً ()يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً)
(الأحزاب: 70-71) .

فإن أحسن الكلام كلام الله ، عز و جل ، خير الهدي هدي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، شر الأمور محدثاتها ، وكل محدثة بدعة ، و كل بدعة ضلالة ، و كل ضلالة في النار .
و بعد :


All praises and thanks are due to Allaah, we seek His Help and we seek his Forgiveness. We seek refuge with Him from the evil of our souls and the evil of our actions. Whosoever Allaah guides then none can misguide him, and whosoever Allaah leaves to stray then none can guide him.

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship save Allaah, the One Who has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) is His servant and messenger.

"O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Aadam), and from him (Aadam) He created his wife [Hawwaa' (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women, and fear Allaah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allaah is Ever an AllWatcher over you." [Soorat an-Nisaa', 4:1]

"O you who believe! Fear Allaah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islaam [as Muslims (with complete submission to Allaah)]." [Soorat Aali-'Imraan, 3:102]

"O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins, and whosover obeys Allaah and His Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-Fire and will be admitted to Paradise)." [Soorat al-Ahzaab, 33:70-71]

As for what follows: Verily the most truthful speech is the Word of Allaah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), and the worst of affairs are the newly-invented matters (in Religion) and every newly-invented matter is an innovation (bid'ah) and every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance is in the Fire. [1] This special introduction is known as Khutbat ul Hajah. The word Khutbah means sermon or opening address, and the word Hajah means, need, necessity, be in want, or requirement. Literary, therefore, Khutbatul Hajah is the sermon needed to address matters with. the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) used to start his sermons with this kind of Khutbah. It is recommended to use it when initiating marriage contracts, as introduction to books, as well as in the beginning of speeches.

to your blog[s] and also by posting to your group[s]/contact list. And indeed your reward is with Allah and you can anticipate the huge reward based on the below hadith of our Prophet sallallahu alayhe wa sallam who didn't speak from his desire rather by the command of Allah.


It comes in Muslim (1017) from the hadeeth of Jarir bin ‘Abdillah -may Allah be pleased with him- that the Prophet -sallahu ‘alayhi wasallam- said: Whoever introduces a good practice in Islam which was followed after him (by people) he will have the reward like the one who has done it, without their rewards being diminished in the least.*

And he has attained by this a mighty reward from Allah the Most High, for indeed he -sallahu ‘alayhi wasallam- has said: Verily if Allah guides by way of you one man it is better for you than the red camels. Bukhaari (3009) and Muslim (2406) [Taken from: Towdeeh al-Ahkaam min Bulooghil Maraam by Ash-Sheikh ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdur Rahman Al-Bassaam.]
